A growing and busy surgery center is looking for an experienced Front Office Coordinator to join our team. The Front Office Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the administrative duties of the center. They will be responsible for checking patients in and out of the facility for their procedures.


Job Duties:

– Greet patients and visitors in a warm, friendly manner

– Schedule and confirm procedures at the facility

– Collect co-pays, deductibles and follow-up on existing balances

– Prepare charts for the next day

– Call patients to confirm their scheduled appointments and provide directions to the facility

– Create new patient packets and charts

– File and organize patient charts

– Maintain provider credentialing files

– Always keep front office and patient waiting area neat and tidy

– Other duties as assigned



– High school diploma, associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred

– 2 years of medical office experience, preferably in an outpatient setting

– Understand HIPAA and OSHA regulations

– Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

– EHR experience

– Have a friendly and welcoming disposition

– Experience answering phone calls utilizing a multi-line phone system

– Work experience with appointment scheduling

– Previous surgery center experience preferred
